1. the beach is about a meter less wide, and I can inform the council why free of charge. tractors took the sand away. they could have waited for a low tide but instead they took the sand from right in front of the umbrellas.

2. the army are there today with tape measures checking the umbrella people. could be good news alto I very much doubt they will stop the jetski scams, for reasons that can no longer be discussed openly in the Pattaya forum.

3. the farang begger from Bangkok with the swollen leg that the tourist police and his embassy received so much praise for for helping. seems they helped him relocate to Pattaya where hes begging on the beach footpath. probably better for him but wasnt quite the help I was expecting

Will head for a walk on the wild side soon. Amazing the views along the sea-side in this resort town! Not a boring day.... MS>
