Hemp Seeds, legal or not

The new superfood of the month seems to be Hemp Seeds, but are they legal here? Would hate to take any chances when just trying to get a few Omegas

I would think very hard before you try and bring in hemp seeds, this is Asia after all.

actually i think they are though pot isn't

do a bit of research and you might come to the same conclusion

i even think ones that germinate are also legal in thailand

but where are you going to find them?

some reported finding them in bird and feed stock food on thai visa forums

Excellent, this is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Thai customs will seize anything but since the narc was involved that is a very strong indication of its status and will be sure to avoid buying hemp seeds in Thailand. I do know marijuana is a class 3 drug and there are plenty of other healthy foods.

I found another article confirming that indeed Hemp Seeds in Thailand are illegal and a class 5 drug. Scarry stuff.
