I'm starting to get a bit concerned about bowler hats as well because I heard you could get it from them. Thank God Acker Bilk just died as he used to wear a bowler quite frequently and could have spread the disease by wandering about on the shore.

Also it's not just Liberians who spread Ebola, I heard it was librarians as well.

So just to be on the safe side. I think it's best to keep out of libraries for the present (not that most people in this thread would find that difficult)...

Keeping librarians under house arrest should also be considered. While seemingly harsh, honestly who could think that the loss of a bit of personal liberty for comparatively few people is more important than the uncontrolled spread of a deadly disease. Only a PC do-gooder, that's who!

Even if the likes of Liberia were Ebola-free I still wouldn't want to go there, but thanks for the offer anyway. Plenty of Africa for me to go to if you are having a whip-round for my airfare.
