It would seem that most of the people arrested and charged for possession of 'war weapons' over the last months are in fact really innocent, but just happen to have the 'wrong friends'. What, no comments about "nightly cowardly grenade attacks by the red shirts" (the only people who had grenade launchers apparently ) Just a guess, but it may be related to the complete absence of cowardly nightly grenade attacks against Red Shirt protesters. Knew a Thai guy in Surin who has, among other weapons, a coupe of grenades he bought off some border policeman. He kept them in his bedroom in case of unwelcome visitors in the night. I kid you not. The army are going after the reds and the police are still ONLY interested in the yellows. Nothing changed since May. ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is exactly why I wonder about the reason for that bit about the drugs investigation (#23) & whether it is true, or just there to muddy the reputation of the anti govt protesters who dared to attack "Pol.
