That same singulat rhetoric. Why are some unprepared to accept that politicians have a vested interest in protecting their mismanagement of the legislation. Only the ignorant would think that the law has always been right. Your quote The State Pension is described in legislation as a “benefit” in order to root it within the existing social security framework as a statutory scheme paid out of monies in the National Insurance Fund. Despite what the quote may say, there is no statutory amount for the state pension and the Graduated Pension Scheme never had anything to do with National Insurance. The political rhetoric is false by omission and deliberately misleading, effectively Fraud by False Representation. -

Russian driver crashes into Thai couple’s motorcycle, denies responsibility
“Call out! A Russian man sped out of an alley and crashed into the victims’ motorcycle. The foreigner refused to pay compensation and dared the victims to take the matter to court if they wanted the money.” If this statement is true, this is an act of utter arrogance and intimidation. This behaviour may be the norm in Russia but he forgets, or refuses to accept, that he is a guest of Thailand. Stupid man if he goes to Thai court, it will not turn out well. I have no sympathy for him if he gets shaken down, deported, and black listed. -
