I believe there is a new service about to start from Don Mueang to Taipei Next month. Has anyone been to Taipei recently or flown with Tiger air? Is Taipei a good place to go for a weekend? What are the best places to visit or stay? Any info welcome. Thanks .

Highkly doubt TR will fly direct ex DMK-its a SINgapore based airline, with a large portion held by SQ. And till now TR only flies still ex BKK/Swampy to SIN.+more from there.

TR have flown: its just one of many all the same lowcostcarriers ala AirAsia- in SIN very long rows for manual checkin and slow too.

Maybe you confuse with the new planned routes of NokScoot? (another of SIN's LCC's-but moved to DMK as its teams with NOK now)

There WILL be a Tiger Airways flight DMK to TPE.

IT 506, daily leaving at 20:05h, arriving at 0:40h, flight time 3:35h.
