Get rid of Trovi ?

The Trovi search engine has firmly entrenched itself as my default homepage in Chrome, Firefox and IE.

I've done the settings/options etc all to no avail.

Running Windows 8.1

Any help is most appreciated!

Lavasoft just says to do everything I've already done.

The program doesn't show up in my browser extensions.

It doesn't show up under "Uninstall a program".

If I can't find it on my machine, how do I remove it????

Malwarebytes free from https://www.malwarebytes.org/

HitmanPro from http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro This is a trial version, unlimited scanning but only able to remove for 30 days.

I had a nasty and annoying search engine that installed it self as part of another app and could not

get rid of it no matter what I have tried until I ran this cleaner... http://www.yac.mx/ (yet another cleaner)

and lo and behold, it's got rid of it.. give it a go...

I tried the AdwCleaner & it didn't work.

HitmanPro however, did the trick!
