It's hot all over Thailand. A mate in Bangkok told me he couldn't even walk outside yesterday.

Cool season still a month or so away at a guess.

It is defiantly cooler now. Not as cool as usual for November but a lot cooler than it has been. The humidity is not helping any thing.

Loy Katoey is very early this year. That makes it seem later than it is.

Heavy rain in Mae Rim last night. I'd say another round of storms will come through before the air cools.

Katoeys do have a way of influencing the weather.

Alas, the cool here always yields to the hot and is never defiant. :P

It is humid too as the rainy season does not want to end. Check out the 10 day forecast from Wunderground:

Is this a fair example of a 'Loy Katoey':

Must admit I though mid October that our cool season was in.

Pffft we here in the sandpit refer to that as a mild spring day.

Unbearable but totally normal.Thunderstorms are expected early next week ,front coming down from China.Give it a week or 3 and hopefully the wet season will kick in.

Mate of mine very sick today. Its not smart to drink a lot of alcohol right now as it just dehydrates you even further. Easy fix .....drink a lot more water.

Rain coming mid next week. Temperatures down 5+ degrees.

According to the Thai Meteorology website, the temperature hit 42.76 C or 109 degrees F. That is indeed hot.

37 C outside in the shade at the Smith residence, San Kamphaeng rice fields. Reliable thermometer.
