Is there still a place in Chiang Mai where vhs tapes can be converted to vcd/dvd?

Yes, some of the first floor shops in the Computer Plaza.

Just to mention that when converting old analogue VHS tapes to digital will decrease the quality quite a bit, but unfortunately there is not much you can do about that. I had 5 home movies on VHS tapes converted some years ago onto DVDs and was rather disappointed at the results. So letting you know what to expect. Also taking into account that Thailand uses the pal 25fps format. If your tapes are the American ntsc 29fps format, this may also cause problems with audio and video synchronization, so please check this out once your stuff is burned onto DVD.

Shop in Panthip Plaza. Been there for years. They just moved and I can't remember if they moved from the 1st Floor to the 2nd Floor or vice versa, but they are there and there are a few signs around saying they moved and to which Suite number.
