Unexpected world and social media attention on KT lie. The junta, still tightening its grip to silence all possible dissent/questioning at home, now has the unwelcome attention of the `free world` to counter. Hence draconian use of lese-majeste, defamation and computer crime laws.

They should just have some civic minded men bomb and shoot at the houses of dissenters (or just at the people... and bystanders) in the middle of the night, that's the democratic way of addressing opposing views.
