November 20, 201411 yr Yeah he is the guy on the right, I haven't seen him around in a while so I am guessing he is gone. The other fellow I believe went to Cambodia and opened a guest house.
December 9, 201411 yr as was said, before it became an extension of despair and sickness, it was a lovely bar that hosted weekly buffets of awesomeness, performances, relaxed vibe with cozy atmosphere. those days are long long gone. I noticed many places like that in Chiang Mai. Places that represented a brief moment in time, did their own thing, did it very well, added to the community of people in that moment. but ultimately fell off and vanished due to someone being taken advantage of, something being mismanaged. now its just a headache.
December 9, 201411 yr Is there anywhere in Chiang Mai that has well done modern club music ?? House, elektro, breakbeat, anything ?? Even downtempo, chill, NuSoul, lounge, etc etc etc.. Would have thought this in total sync with the niman set.. Phuket Bangkok Patts Samui etc all seem to have at least some club scene.. Theres plenty of younger age group up here who surely would be up for it.. Almost strange the selection is as far as I can tell literally non existent.
December 9, 201411 yr It's been a while but the second room at Fabric use to have some good tunes going on. Basically deserted most of the time as most Thai's have know idea/no interest in quality dance music.
December 9, 201411 yr Blar Blar Bar has a pretty good room in the back, but the sets are too short to get in a lot of dancing.
