This is a development that I feel has been somewhat under-reported. With a range of 3,000 km, a CEP (Circular Error Probability) of 14 metres and a maximum 1,150 kg warhead, the Flamingo is one of the most powerful cruise missiles ever produced. According to reports, full production of 2 units per day is projected be reached in early October. It can have single or modular warheads, so it can perform air-burst with solid tungsten balls, or spread bomblets from altitude, and it can carry unitary delayed action warheads. This means that a single Flamingo can take out an entire airfield's worth of planes, or destroy a reinforced bridge, bunker, factory etc. So now, even Russia's more remote refineries, arms factories and other military-related facilities that were previously too far away, are within range of Ukrainian missiles. Russia has real reason to fear this new weapon.
