Is there any Notary Public in Phuket that would be accepted by a Hong Kong bank?

I need to send some certified documents to this bank in Hong Kong, but I think Notary Publics in some countries, among them Thailand, are generally not accepted in other countries, like Hong Kong or Western countries. In that case, who else could certify copies of my passport etc. that would be accepted by Hong Kong bank?

Yes. Try a honorary consul. Even Bangkok Bank has told me that there is no such thing as a Notary Public in Thailand. I know that many will now respond that, oh, yes there is, but I would try another country to have this done. Yes, there are many signs that say they are notaries, and many signs that say they sell Rolex watches and Sony products. I think they are the same.

A number of years ago I had a Phuket lawyer certify a passport copy, paid 800 Baht for sign + stamp, it passed successfully through Dutch bureaucracy.
