Featured Replies

I have tried to google it with no success, can anyone tell me what number of bus goes from Future Park Rangsit, to Mochit BTS? Thanks.

Someone put a map etc, to download, thanks, but I don't want those downloads that offer toolbars, when you get them I know from experience that they can be hard to get rid of. I only want a simple bus number.

I don't know how reliable is the data, but you get results on Google map...

Edit: bus numbers from Google map info, 39, 510, 523. The last one, you need to change buses 187 to 529

part of above is not right-some routes actually do not run anymore and it mixes route via Sapan Mai (VERY slow!) with the faster ones along DMK/Vipavadee.

AND: when do you farang finally understand that this is done in seconds at the stop-the right one(which will also not appear on all those www) instead of half hours via this www? AND to state more exact if you can stand the openair bus, the vans etc-you TVusers always respond after so much trouble with: I take the taxi.

Fastest is the van-they run ev 3/5 mins-ev 2/3 peaks, and are labelled TOLLway-as thats what they will use. 30 bt-pay when asked.

For the big buses; Learn Thai-as many do NOT go that far-they have shields telling that. Mostly its the 29 and the 510 (AC only), in mornings some 29 run via expressway and NOT via Mochit-direct Vict.Monum.

523 has effectively stoped running since some 2 yrs. 522 is very frequent, and does NOT serve Mochit-it goes slow via Sapan Mai-then Kasert , Mall Ngam-then Exprway to Vict.Monum.

I took the local wooden floor bus one time , it was 8 baht and took forever 45 minutes I think

It was an interesting ride ONCE , at Future Park I had to take a Taxi the rest of the way,

But the best way would be the Mini Van

,

According to my wife:

Rangsit - Mor Chit

Bus number 510 or 29 travels on Viphavardi - Rangsit Rd

Bus number 39 Pink or Red travels on Pahonyothin Rd (Don't take shorter, orange 39 bus, this stops at Kasert University)

Bus number 503 also travels on Pahonyothin Rd

Thanks, I'm quite familiar with the 29 which I know runs past that other big mall (the name escapes me) then past Don Muang airport and on past Mochit. so I can get the 29 at Future Park. Thanks.

I think that would be the 29, I will keep the mini bus in mind, but cannot read Thai.

If you want to take a van, the vans usually have BTS in the window. Once you've identified which number it is, you can use the same van for your return journey.

Alternatively, you could ask ' Bai BTS Mor Chit chai mai? which, VERY roughly translated means 'Do you go to the BTS at Mor Chit?...........I think.

I would assume any Minibus that has BTS will get you headed back to your place , unless you really need to go to Mo Chit

but is there a Minibus that takes the expressway to a BTS station ? Taking the normal city streets takes forever......

I'm not 100% sure but, I think the vans that have BTS in the window only go to Mor Chit, as this is the nearest station to Future Park Rangsit. As for the tollway, I'm sure some vans use it at certain times of the day, but I don't know any more than that I'm afraid

expressway is roughly pronounced "tong duen".

So you could say something like, "bai Rangsit (or Future Park Rangsit) bai tong duen, mai khrap???"

Here's some route links for the 510 and 39 bus lines. Whether the route maps are up-to-date is always a mystery, particularly since this is a third-party website, not the official BMTA one, which is FAR FAR worse.

510 is shown going as far north as the Thammasat campus.

Same for the 39 line:

But the 29 line is shown only going less far north to only Zeer Rangsit.
