Changing Battery on an S3

Featured Replies

Looking to upgrade the battery on my Samsung S3 from 2100mAh to the 3500 mAh which requires a new, larger back cover.

Has anyone had any problems doing this?

I imagine you can get leather phone "wallets"/cases to accomodate the new enlarged back?

Would be interested to hear if this battery upgrade a good thing to do, and if people have had success with such an upgrade

thanks

I know that Seidio is selling the 3500 mAh battery with extended back cover.

I stuck with the normal size s3 battery, I have 2 spares, I carry one with me. I also turn data off now when I'm not using the phone, this is the major reason for the battery draining quickly
