Does anyone know if there is a Post Office in the airport that I could send a parcel 'poste restante' and if so, any idea of the opening hours. I need to send something with a friend to the UK.

If not I can probably find a Post Office on their route and get it there before they arrive.

Cheers

Mate, I've used it once.

Unless it's moved, as you walk into Swampy, it's on the Departure Level ... far right, and near the back

From a website ...

Postal Service
Located at the International Departure Hall, next to the CAT Telecom shop, the Post Office operates a small kiosk for EMS, packages, stamps and general postal services. The Western Union booth is also here. (Post Office: open 24 hours; Western Union: open 08:30 – 16:30, Monday-Friday.)

... down near where it says X-Ray (Brown Sign)

That's after immigration, the one I used once is indeed in the departure hall far right corner but it is before immigration and security.

^^ Nice pick-up ... I've learnt something.

I searched around a bit and found ...

The post office to send parcels to oversea or within Thailand moved to level 6. You have to use the glass elevator on level 4, near to check in line Q. On level 6 is also the observation desk.
