phuketrichard Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 will this be the end of posting images on Facebook? The new Facebook Terms of Use have been modified to allow the company to sell virtually anything that is uploaded to the service, including all your photos, your identity and your data. Facebook has also explicitly removed the privacy protection from the commercialization rights. This means that any photos uploaded to Facebook may be sold, distributed or otherwise commercialized with no compensation to the photographer. http://photofocus.com/2013/09/09/facebook-changes-terms-of-service-photogs-be-wary/ 1

rhythmworx Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Pretty much the same with what yahoo did with Flickr.
sunshine51 Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) @ PR...this is true & I don't use FB at all as I think it's a waste of time...however... Mr Zuckerberg had better be very careful with this new policy because if FB ever sells visibly copyrighted material...such as a pic with the tag 'copyright-joebloggs 2014' Zuckerberg Inc can be in heaps of legal troubles plus an outta court settlement may cost FB more than they could ever realise.
