Any expats in Nonthaburi?

Hi guys, I am an English guy (39 years old) been living in Sydney for 13 years. I met my Thai soon to be wife here 5 years ago. We are moving permanently to Thailand next year and we recently bought a house in Nonthaburi. Her choice as it is closer to her family who live in Ayathuya.

I was just wondering will I bump into many expats around Nonthaburi or do most people live in central BKK? I was there for a few days in July and didn't spot any pubs anywhere, are there any?

Btw we are not living in Nichida (may have spelt that wrong) we are living on what looks like a mainly Thai estate a few clicks down the road.

Im there seen enough others but you dont bump into them everyday.

No real pubs there for whites its more secluded. If your int pubs and fun your mostly wrong there. But if you can drive a car or motorbike you can get to Bkk easy. Also taxis ate easy to get better as in BKk

I like a night out at the weekend but my Thai partner doesnt drink so I have curtailed my drinking in recent years. If I have the odd night out and meet friends in Suk then it doesnt seem to ardous a taxi journey home. I am quite happy with the house she chose it is on a new development, I guess it would be nice if there was a local western type pub close by but it isnt the end of the world.

I've been living in Nonthaburi for several years now and still rarely see any farangs. I'm probably a bit out of the main bit though, living near Bang Yai / Sai Noi. Also I don't stray out from work and home often that probably has a lot to do with it ^^
