I have a pair of older running shoes that squeak like crazy now. Appears to be coming from the inner layer(s) of the sole, but I am not sure. I have tried to no avail every tip on Internet -- baby powder, stuffing newspapers, glue, lotion, etc. They say if all else fails, take shoes to a professional. Anyone have experience with this and can tell me where you got them fixed?

I'd hate to throw out the shoes because other than the embarrassing noise, they are still in good shape.
