I'm looking for a restaurant on Samui that offers a nice, Christmas brunch. By "nice," I'm looking for an indoor, climate-controlled venue with white tablecloths and such--I'm thinking carving stations and mimosas, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

The best value for money Christmas dinner on the island can be found at Gow Badger's restaurant in Lamai for just Baht 700 including English imported plum pudding. Located on the road from Lamai beach road to the ring road, opposite Dragon Bar.

Be aware that many hotels have compulsory Christmas dinner.

Yes and not much change from Baht 5000 with the plus...plus...

most of hotels have no compulsory xmas dinners any more. That was years ago. Now New Years Dinners are compulsory only. Has nothing in common with the question for Christmas Lunch, actually. By the way, when is Christmas Lunch?

Any time after 1 pm on the 25th.

The OP is asking for a CIMATE CONTROLLED (air-con) restaurant that serves BRUNCH on 25th December. So after you narrow it down to all air-con places (which I believe are not too many) and then check if they serve Brunch on 25th. None of the previous answers has addressed this, everyone is talking about Christmas DINNER...

Anyway, looking forward to see if there is such a place. I stick with Ocean 11 as the previous years....

W hotel maybe?

Yes they probably have 8000 or 12000thb +tax menus.... they exaggerate like most hotels, hope they will be empty, this is thailand it should be at least a bit cheaper than our countries (europe, usa...)

The W Hotel looked promising. As advertized on their website (http://www.wretreatkohsamui.com/christmas), 1,800 for their brunch or 3,500 for unlimited Chandon for 2 hours. However in a classic Thai bait-and-switch (in my experience at least, this practice is quite customary with Thai businesses, when I called to reserve a table for 4, I was informed that the price was 3,800 for the brunch, and it comes with one glass of prosecco. Still looking around at Nikki Beach and some of the other recs in this thread.

For anyone that might be interested in an early Christmas dinner, they are now serving turkey with all the trimmings at The Larder. I only saw the board through the window, but it looked like 1200THB for main course only. They are fully booked for 25th.

Double checked today. It's THB1,200 for three courses: Smoked Salmon or pumpkin soup, turkey dinner, pavlova dessert.

The Larder. Its opposite the Anantara Lawana heading into Chaweng from the airport. Just along from Anong Restaurant. But they are fully booked for 25th.
