Yingluck still more popular than Abhisit: survey

BANGKOK: -- Former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra is still more popular than Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva, Bangkok University pollster found in its latest opinion survey.

The university found that 26.6 per cent of 1,206 respondents preferred Yingluck as the next prime minister while 25.1 per cent named Abhisit. The remaining 48.3 per cent were undecided.

The survey was carried out on the occasion of six months after the National Council for Peace and Order seized power.

This can't be right, must be opinion poll buying, because as every junta apologist says they only win because of vote buying!

  • Oh said another way basically a quarter of the population preferred Yinluck and a quarter Abhisit...and the remaining half of the population didn't give a crap.

Try providing viable political alternatives if you don't like them instead of just seizing power in a sulk.

Can I have some of that rice money? I need to buy a new Ferrari to race with my Red Bull brother.

But 92% support year leader unquestionably so these maths must be wrong

Let the Shinawatra clan come back in power and Thailand will self-destruct.

Was there any doubt about it. Abhisit should resign as party leader he is dragging that party down. He's nothing but a cry baby. New ideas and people are needed. I wonder how Korn would do against both of them.

Or had no opinion, which is not all that unusual when it comes to critical thinking skills.

i am shocked, SHOCKED by this result

lol

back to work dear leader..

Pointless poll when the current democratic regime is supported by 92% of the electorate. wai.gif

Just about any poll taken which reqires a choice between a male and a female of the human species, no matter the comparsion of eithers real ability will favor the female gender; the results are attributed to human favoring the under dog, their natural instinct for protecting the source of physical satifaction, and the life long goal of reproduction. poog tang is a driving force, even if not attainable from the specified female subject.

Why do to think there are billions made each year on porno sites, nude picture magazines, whore houses, etx, Just count the number of couples who are referenced as lady name first , male name second, that is the natural way to vote in a poll. Its simikar to the number 7 being the most popular, If you want a better poll pit 10 males and 10 female names to the poll respondents and see who is named (include the most popular actor and actress in the list as well as adam and eve

Baboon, unless you are Thai .. in which case you should stay off this forum which is for ex-pats... whoever is the Premier has Nothing to do with you... and just for your knowledge, Yinluck did Not win the majority of votes, she had to call in other parties to prop up her government and those coalition partners cost the taxpayers a fortune in bribe moneys.. Yinluck is an airhead which we all know now. (some of us knew before) and it may be, by the time she has to face the punishment for her rice scheme disaster, that she will not be allowed to be in politics for a long time . Lets hope so !

Personally, I would love to see her sent to prison for her crimes.. but that will Never happen. whistling.gif

Who is "we", do you have a mouse in you pocket? 1 and 1/2 PM's, has beens, who may be remembered as 2 of the worst politicans to assume the PM slot in Thailand. (for completly different reasons I might add). This has nothing to do with the present government nor the coup that got them where the are.

In politics? Think again.

I would love to nail YS, but sex appeal is not a major factor at this point in LOS. In fact, if either were to have such an edge it may very well be AV with female voters, who statistics have shown to be more reliable voters anyhow.

" New ideas and people are needed."

Now there's an original and good idea Bob.

New ideas, new people and no more Democrats, Shins, PTP, PPP, TRT. Just a new, clean slate of honest, incorruptible, and hardworking people.

I look forward to the event.

At the moment, the prime minister has nothing to do with Thais either.

He seized power at gun point, and doesn't look like quitting anytime soon.

I'd vote for her over Abhisit. But then I am not Thai.whistling.gif

Anyway what idiot relies on surveys to say how they are perceived by the general public in Thailand at this present moment?cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifgiggle.gif

In related news we had a baboon say

"Here we go again. According to a government backed poll, the government are doing an amazing job. Nothing to see here, folks..."

Others mentioned a total disbelieve of any poll in Thailand.

Poor Ms. Yingluck

and it don't look good

I am speaking from personal opinion, not from the results of polls.
