Too bright for my Dracula like eyes the thunderbolt displays (maybe the one I viewed was set too bright though), not seen the new one but the old 27" was impressive in detail.

Too shiny and reflective aswell, if you have a mild light source behind you like a blinded window in mild non sunny daylight or anything bright that light can reflect off.

You could flag the light off behind you though I suppose.
