Police/ Military Raid.

I am very reliably informed by a good friend ( he was there! ) that last Friday evening there was a large police/ military raid on the "Enorme" Restaurant. I understand that the officers in question came in, and immediately were taking photographs of tables with food and drink on, followed by the taking of individual photographs of the clientele.

My friend, visiting from USA with his Mum, was permitted to pay up and leave, which he did.

No idea what it was all about but wonder if this is the start of applying the regulations first revealed a few months ago which for example, from memory, preclude the advertising of a named beer on a beer glass etc?

I wish they would raid the bar next to my house. There must be some kind of laws prohibiting a guitar player from playing the same ' songs every single night.

Yes that would be a great reason to have razzia and send in a combined police & military squad.

I see it in town too, with military presence. Everyone lays low until they figure they have what they came for and leave.
