CityNews’s web site has been under attack by hackers for the past few months and we are unable to fix it without a total site rehaul. We have also recently said farewell to our news editor and are currently in the process of building an entirely new web site (a process which started in January 2014 and which we hope to complete by the end of January 2015).

We apologise for any inconveniences but have therefore decided to only post news on our Facebook page for now (though we will stop for the holidays between 23rd December and 5th January) as we spend our efforts making sure that our new site is launched as soon as possible.

Therefore the URL www.chiangmaicitynews.com will no longer be in use and we will inform you the moment we know when our new site is up.

Why dont you auto redirect to the FB timeline for a while then.. At least people would have updates and news still while you work on the backend.

Maybe because the attacks have been auto-redirecting traffic to sites selling handbags etc.

It's nearly worthless classifieds site now.
