Is there any reliable house-cleaning service in Phuket Town?

Featured Replies

Is there any reliable house-cleaning service in Phuket Town that do thorough cleaning? Not only quick swabbing the floor and that's it but wipe off the dust from all furnitures, in drawers and on shelves also? How much would it cost approximately for 1 room and kitchen?

The management for the condo do it, but they seem to swab the floor only, still a lot of dust in every corner and on all furnitures.

I find that generally people just hire a maid. Then show the lady exactly what needs to be done, bring her in as many times as you need per week.

My lady comes in once a week, takes about two hours to do the whole house, bathrooms, etc., she actually sometimes does some yardwork too and I pay her 400thb.

Ask around any Thai neighbors you might have if anyone is looking for maid-work.

There's a company called Phuket Housekeeper who have a permanent ad in the classifieds on Phuket News. They're also on Facebook.

Haven't used them myself so I can't advise on prices, etc.

I saw on my rental receipt for the old place I'm moving back to they charge 300 baht for cleaning. I asked them this time to wipe off all the dust also in drawers and cupboards and furnitures and they said they would do it. I think some do it if you tell them, not else, usually only swab the floor.

What's wrong with spending 20 mins doing it yourself? The time spent here inquiring about a cleaner you could have completed the dusting yourself.

I'd understand if you were in a 3 story villa but we're talking about a 30sqm box here judging by your original post.

Thailand does make people lazy, including myself.
