chuang Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 hi there, how much is the taxi fare from Phuket Walking Street to Patong in the evening...are there any other transportations....thanks.
LivinginKata Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Phuket Walking Street as in Phuket Town. Taxi is the only option. Public buses stop service from Patong by 17.30
stevenl Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Most people talking about 'walking street' mean Bangla Road, which already is in Patong. So do you mean another walking street?
Guest Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Most people talking about 'walking street' mean Bangla Road, which already is in Patong. So do you mean another walking street? Probably Phuket town Sunday walking street, Thalang road. http://www.thephuketnews.com/phuket-sunday-market-walking-street-starts-at-end-of-september-41661.php
Xircal Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I don't think you'll get a taxi for less than 1,000 Baht somehow, especially at night. What you could consider doing is take the airport bus which stops in Thalang (assuming that's where you are) and which costs 80 Baht one way to Patong. Then check-in to a cheap hotel for the night and take the bus back the next day. The bus stops in Patong at the Banzaan Market which is located at the rear of the Jungceylon shopping mall. Here's the link to Google Street View which shows where you'll be: http://goo.gl/maps/TdauX Here's the bus timetable And here are the fares
