Did you get out on the road yet ?

What did you do, where did you go, who with ?

I just managed to get a ride today, been busy for the last couple days.

Spent a couple hrs on my own, practising my technique on the twisties. Some beautiful scenery through the rubber and palm plantations. One emergency stop successfully completed, avoiding a kamikaze K9. Being a relative novice, I enjoy getting out on my own and having a controlled blast :)

Did this route on Friday as gweiloman and my ride fell through.

Really good day for a ride, but the road from [304] to the wat was literally backed up the WHOLE way. A lot of shoulder riding and lane filtering had me feeling like I was back in BKK.

North of the wat was really nice for a while, than turned into pothole central for 15 km or so. Back on the [3481] it turned nice enough again.

Didn't go anywhere too far, just from Nakhon Chaisi to Don Toom and back. Rode back just after dusk, in case you couldn't tell biggrin.png

Looks like mine did; I filled up the kitchen sink and let 'er soak in the kitchen sink for about 40 minutes (watched a downloaded tv episode) and then cleaned it up. Was surprising how much road grime gets up inside the shell. Flipped it upside down and let sit on the clothes drying rack on the balcony where the AC unit dumps its hot air. Dry and good smelling come morning.

Rode my wife a dozen of times or so... biggrin.png

The bike is parked until I get back to Thailand in a week.

Sorry I couldn't make it Friday d_b. Something came up last minute that could not be avoided. Will try for other rides soon.

JUST after dark is the worst time to ride a bike here in LOS.

Prachuab & Sam Roi Yod were nice.

Highly recommend Ploensamut restaurant on Prachuab beachfront.

Yeah, the ride out was more fun. Oh well, washed the bike this morning and wiped up the helmet, no harm done.
