If you are visiting Khon Kaen, one of the most important sites to see is Wat Nong Waeng.

The Wat is located next to the Khon Kaen lake.

The main building is a 9 floor Stupa or pagoda and is used as a Wat and also as a museum.

If you manage to climb the stairs to the 9th floor, you will be rewarded with some very nice views of the lake and most of the city of Khon Kaen.

Worth visiting.
