Recommendations for a good lawyer in Phuket

Featured Replies

I am on the point of purchasing a property in Phuket, probably leasehold. My very charming estate agent assures me that he can recommend a good lawyer. I have no suspicions of his integrity, but like the idea of a firm that might be less popular with agents and more popular with purchasers. I should be very grateful for recommendations. Of course, English language will be essential.

Please limit responses within this topic to the question asked. I know the issue of leasehold is controversial, but that is not the subject matter here. On the other hand, anybody with genuine, specific, relevant information on that is certainly invited to PM me, with my thanks.

I Second that,

Have worked with Sam in the past and continue to. I would not go with recommendations from RE agents.

Many thanks to all who have posted suggestions here and also to those who have PM'ed me. This has all been very valuable. Sam Fauma clearly has a lot of fans and I shall almost certainly contact him. There have been some delays on the part of the friend who will be buying this with me, but we expect to be in action in mid-March.

I believe the new Australian Honorary Consul, Michelle Hawryluk, comes recommended. biggrin.png
