Where in Chiang Mai would I get my car key duplicated?? Any suggestions.. It's an older Toyota Soluna and it's a manual key...not a remote..

Any info greatly appreciated....

Now that is tough one.

Perhaps you might try the key shops you see in many/most of the big shopping centers and nearby the wet markets. If they can not help, talk to Toyota. Or the key/lock guy on Chiang Moi Road where it swings left coming from the moat, on the left side, or the guy across from the entrance to the old Municipal Stadium.

Suthep Rd, between Soi 5 and 6.....on the left, in the small strip mall....complete key-making locksmith service.

If you are on the south side of town there is a shop at the back of Hangdong Road Big C. Unless you walk thru to the covered car park you will not see it. He does cars, bikes and house keys.

If there's a key cutter in Chiang Mai who is not able to cut a standard manual car key, please let me know.

I’ve just used the key guy ground floor at the back of Tesco Lotus Kamtiang.

 

made us a flip key for our Vigo instead of the Toyota one that snaps.

This has made me think, there are no keys to my Car. and they dealer didnt  say what to do. Phone em up i suppose.

Don't be surprised if you have to bring a Residence Certificate 

and two Thai "witnesses" to get a key copied.

Mine does have a key after all. Much to the mirth of the Dealer. . A change remote battery warning pops up on the dash when its nearly dead.

I had my mbike lock picked and even bought a set of tools to pick locks from this guy and his family

 

I use the shop at CM gate on the other side where wulai sat walking street starts...hes to the LEFT of 7-11 and has his old black truck parked outside as he hangs out there, maybe from his wife, who also sells somtam there as his kid usually does my keys.....i get a mbike and room copy..cheap..about 35 bt each..
