I ended up going the route of apologizing and decided to finance her trip for her. I mentioned that I would be honored to meet her parents at some point but that I would like to get to know her better first. Wished her a merry trip and told her to tell Ma and Pa I said Hi! She seemed to take it very good. Thanks for all the suggestions again. Later.
