Ayy has anyone gotten any tattoo work done in/around Phetchabun/Phitsanulok??? I think I know of one shop here in town, but I'm not sure how good or hygienic it is. Should I just make a trip to Bangkok instead?

I have many times. 2000 satang shop. Probably more hygienic than where you are from.

There are about 3 shops and 2 wats ode buy who do sak yant. Mate you really need to get more aware of your suroundi

There was one inside Big C Phitsanulok.allways seemed clean to me, and many customers.Maybe still there.

Take your time choosing mate. I have been here 7 yes and been to 2 great tattooists in that time. Bangkok, look up Ying Young Terk, Viphavadi Rangsit. Soi 16, Ladprao. I used to live around the corner from his shop. Brilliant. And the second is in Ubon Ratchatani, Tiktattoo, Big C, Bazaar 1. Had a full back piece done by him. I would go to Tik in Ubon look him up on Facebook my pics are on there.
