scout uniform

If his boss wants to, it seems to be helpful to keep the position. Foreign males should wear skirts,to feel the difference......

Seems to be a sort of Scottish tradition. Please see photo. thumbsup.gif

hi. a friend of mine got a job as a language teacher and the school wants him to wear a schout uniform once the week ( and he has to pay for it)is it legal to wear this for a foreigner?

Of course it's legal. That is, as long as he doesn't have to wear the uniform in the picture below.

The Scout Uniform is not a military uniform.

As I understand it, Scouting in schools here is more or less compulsory, and I've seen a lot of teachers in uniform.

so I'd not worry about it.

I don't know if they expect you to make the Thai Scout promise, which in each country promises allegiance to the head of state. I've had US Scouts in Australia and they had to use the US Scout promise as per instructions from the US Embassy.

Is that you? I mean the tall one and you're wearing a wig? Nothing to worry about. This is Thailand, glad you made your "coming out" visible for all here.

But in your favor, you look much better than the ones attached as a photo...... BTW, was always my dream to shit in her handbag.....thumbsup.gif

Yeah I never get why the male scout leaders wear shorts, as it just seems a lot less dignified than if they were to wear long pants (And they're used to the heat, so that shouldn't be a problem, not that slacks vs shorts makes a huge difference anyway).

I can understand if they were going to be running or similar, but it just makes some of the male scout leaders, particularly some of the ones who are usually very authoritarian, look almost comical.

Dib, Dib, Dib...an' all that, WHAT!?

Man, if I were you I'd take the bog standard uniform and go see a good tailor. Dress it up with military badges, paratrooper insignia, red braid etc and look the bees knees.

Well, maybe not. Maybe I'd settle for sewing on a "knot tying badge" and my Sixxer stripes, and leave it at that. thumbsup.gif

Scouting doesn't work like that and besides scouting is not military sort of tbing. Uniform needs to conform. You might be able to subtract, but you cant add. Sorry Borat.

Please make sure the skirt is below the knees and you might want to consider shaving your legs. Students like to feel the hair on my arms, but I get a bit concerned when they are running their hands up and down my legs.
