True DOCSIS Gone to The Dogs?

Featured Replies

Has anyone else on True DOCSIS noticed really poor throughput in the evenings?

I'm on 20/2 (which I thought they were upgrading to 30/3, but it seems they went back on that promise...), and for years it's been really stable. Now terrible in the evenings, and even VPN to Singapore gets the same bad speed. It's slow, and many requests just fail.

My location is Phuket. Any reports welcome.

Not sure about "gone to the dogs" but it has been frustratingly slow this last week or so - especially browsing TV!

Pattaya on 15/1. It seemed to happen after they did some local work on the cables as well.

My True DOCSIS 15/1.5 is fine here in Bangkok. Now in the evenings you can tell web surfing to international sites slows down a little to some websites, but not enough to bother me. Heck, I'm using VPN connection right now via a San Francisco IP addresss for my ThaiVisa connection because the posts will appear faster...I've had this issue with ThaiVisa for the longest time.
