This could be seen as a rush to judgement. Good thinking. Charge her, remand her to a prison without bail as her family are known bail-jumpers, hear the case in 10 years time. Howzat? 11

She has stolen or allowed to be stolen billions of baht and you think she should be allowed to get away with it. What sort of example does that set for the next PM? She should think herself lucky she will not get the same sentence as a Chinese court would give her. 12
Popular Post z42 Posted February 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2015 If she doesn't attend this time (19th) that should surely be enough to forcibly detain her. They know precisely the game she is playing and how despicable is.Rule of law and justice for all. And using that argument for a political discussion is disrespectful to those people and their families. So now answer my simple questions. Of course the junta is all about accountability of Ying. They need to hold the new PMan to the same standards also. But we know that wont happen....

Anyone should be indicted for any farmer death its Suthep and his gang. Plus the fact that I look at any farmer who took his own life because of the debt and left his family and children with this debt is a coward. It is an unfortunate fact that farmers have the highest suicide rate in Thailand, going back to at least 1960 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1132862. By occupation farmers show the highest suicide rate; Many factors would cause this, and currently low prices for rice and rubber would be a contributing factor. This is just not in the news now because these unfortunate incidents are not being politicized and used as a tool by a despicable group, trying to curry political favor from tragic circumstances. Wilsonandson - should the junta now take responsibility for any farmer suicides this year as a result of their agriculture policies? Should there be payback?

You have a point. Now which policies did former PMs initiate, knowing through previous experience that the policies were hotbeds of corruption, and without making any attempt to reduce that corruption or improve the efficiency of achieving its stated aims? Did they personally benefit from these policies, as Yingluk did with her (brother's) corrupt vote-buyer which helped her into office?

He further explained that there was no need for the ex-premier to appear before the court when the Office of Attorney-General is due to formally indict her.
