Advise needed please

I want to buy a new laptop and I saw some dells that looked ok with i5 CPU. Then I saw the i7 CPU system which was about 10 000 baht more expensive.

Can someone tell me why the i7 is better than the i5? Is it faster..used for gaming or what.

I want to use Microsoft office, that's about it.

IMHO You can get cheaper then - the i series 5 and 7 depending on number is higher end some are 4 core 8 thread gaming chips. Office does not require much - go cheaper - most any dual core 64bit. the touch screen is also added price you don't need ether - in fact - if like me you will hate it anyway - just one more thing that can brake and cost more.
