Why are there so many farang lefties in Thailand
Because the most prominent American news network in almost every hotel and establishment there is CNN. They promote a completely biased Leftist agenda. The Left controls most of mainstream media in the U.S. as well, so people rarely see real unbiased news reports involving politics. -

Best and most wanted farang food in Buriram
After 20+ years of experiencing local available farang food, I am very interested in what you all would cosider a food item or meal that would be a "go to" if it could be had at a click of a button or locally available. This ideally should be a top 5 list of what you actually want and would be willing to pay(reasonable cost) for highest quality artisan made and organic or as close to it as possible. No cheap substitutes as this is as I would eat with my family. As a thought, Thai or Iocal food made with healthier ingredients, sauce and meat could be on this list as well. Example; papaya salad without fermented fish, dried shrimp or fish sauce. Larb with duck or chicken, no cartilage, skin or gristle. You can make a top 3 or a top 10 as you each prefer. Any feedback and participation is really appreciated and you dont have to be in Isaan or Thailand currently to add. Thanks -

Are you offended at being called Old?
I am old. It's the truth so it doesn't disturb me. But being touted as a c**t would upset me because I'm not (usually). Occasionally I can be an old coot. -

MOPH’s plan to rub out illicit activities in Thai massage shops
But remember, there's NO prostitution in Pattaya, so the authorities often remind us... So all of that 75% must be going on elsewhere! -

Why is it important to get colorectal cancer screening?
A (Thai) friend of mine's father died of colorectal cancer aged 60. Totally unnecessary. When it became symptomatic it was far advanced. All they could do by then was resection his bowel to give him an extra two years. When she gets to 45 I'm gonna make sure my friend gets a colonoscopy. Had two myself. One at 55 (standard, paid by public health insurance) - all clear. Then again at 65 (standard) follow up - this time they removed a small polyp and said come back in three years. Damn sure I will. -

MOPH’s plan to rub out illicit activities in Thai massage shops
I'd revise that slightly, as follows: 81% of Thailand's attraction are these "sexual services". 15% for the beaches, 3% for the [street] food and 1% the temples. 🙂 -
