I was waiting for someone to pick me up on the French stick!.

Actually pretty common in pubs last time I was in Uk- maybe they try to be gastro pubs with their fancy ploughmans??.

Not too sure about the London Pride either. I have heard northern lads describe that as like making love in a punt... You know the next line

Sacrilege. Should have one of these and tear it apart with your hands.

And Strongbow? Factory-produced piss.

Should be scrumpy or a local ale.

Phillistines!

Branston Pickle has been available at Rimping, for at least 4 years.

More like 10+ years!

When I first saw it was overjoyed - Cheese (Vintage Cheddar, of course) and Branston Pickle sandwiches, bliss.

Pork Pie. Maybe even a boiled egg..

And as stated above.. cloudy cider.. Oh ar my lovelies..

I trust this boiled egg you are referring to would have been pickled in vinegar for at least ten years before consumption?

Yeah, I know Rimping have had Branston for years but soo expensive. My point was (partly) that it is on offer for a short while. that's all.
