cheap solution for bike on the trainer at home

Recommended Posts

Today I bought the Shimano Ultegra WH-6800 at nakorn bike.

Nice shop. Small busy, Chinese, good English, well understand.....

(the bearings fell just perfect)

The other shops I have been were sterile with super expensive bikes and no clue at all (I wondered if they are "real" shops or just money laundry).

Now I have the very old tacx trainer at home and the two crap Bontrager wheels.

What do I need to have a trainer bike?

Obviously I need a frame

Obviously I don't need brakes, I don't need to shift gears as I can change the resistance on the tacx.

Obviously I need compatible to Lock pedals.

But I am a bit lost how to get that cheap and compatible.....

Any good ideas? Cheap old second hand steel frame? Than I need to buy the rest and don't need if it will fit....

Someone with a punctured or old carbon frame?

Or searching ebay in Germany (I am in Europe in August) and buy some cheap crap?

What is the advice from the all knowing community?

Bought for Thb 12000,- Selling for Thb 6000,-.

See the add under classifieds on TV.

Thanks! Unfortunately I have a trainer (old Tracx (spelling??)) and need the bike for it

Take my bike + the Cycleops then you have two Trek 2.1. One for outdoors and one for the rainy indoor days.smile.png
