But what are the streets in Udon nice clean and tidy! Much better then bangkok!

Based on the pants and shoes he is wearing, I am guessing an English teacher who went drinking after work.

He likes directing traffic and stopping vehicles. Is he practacing to be a Police Volunteer

I can only guess all Thais passing him were by themselves, because if a large group travelling together had seen this they would have attacked him enmass and pummelled him to the ground then given him the boots

Forget the apologetic excuses. This guy is a disgrace and needs a <deleted> good slapping. The good side is the composure ridden by the Thais who know he's out of his face. Any guy there could have knocked him out in half a sec with a quick bang. If he stopped my car in the street, I sure would have got out and laid him flat, probably at the applause of the Thais watching. I hope, who ever he is, gets sent home very quickly..... a disgrace to all our reputations, despite Thai tolerance of idiots.

Agree with roo860. He doesn't look drunk - I'd say a few chillies shy of a somtam.

JOC, he's directly challenging people, walking right up to them in a threatening manner, which is alarming and stressful. Credit to the locals for not reacting.

If one cannot act better than this after one or two too many, one should not be drinking, simple as that.

As for not hurting anyone, the only reason for that was because of the restraint of the Thais shown in this video.

In the video he was pushing the locals to start a fight and was very lucky that he didn't get what he wanted.
