Online 90 day reporting available from April 1st

Recommended Posts

I just saw that the online 90-day reporting site was down and will do my reporting by registered mail.

A question: the date on my last TM 6 is 11 Dec 2016. I did my retirement renewal after this, on 26 December 2016. Does anyone know which date I should use to calculate the 90 days?

Thanks.

If you entered the country on December 11th that is when the 90 days  started and your report will be due on March 10th.

Your new extension application does not count as a 90 day report. Only the first extension counts as one.

This requires a bit of speculation by more experienced members, but here goes.

Does anyone think the online 90 day reporting system will be up and running by April 15?

I'm giving Thai Immigration a two week window to work around out the kinks.

You can only do your report in Bangkok if that is where you got your extension. To do it at another office you would have to formally change your address to where you wanted to do it.

You can also do your 90 day at the offices at Imperial World Ladprao or Big C Ratburana Rd. They open at 10:30 am.

Joe,

Has immigration moved from Major Hollywood?

My crystal ball is a little fuzzy on that prediction.

Just keep an eye on this topic near the 1st of April to see if there has been a change of its status.

Will do... I'm just a lucky ex-pat wondering if I'll be lucky enough to use the internet instead of getting off my butt.  As though that constitutes a real problem.  Thanks for your quick response.

I check the site to see if is working or not or a regular basis out of curiosity. Just tried https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online and got the usual navigation canceled message. I also check the hotel reporting site to see if it is working at https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/ which just gave me the same message.

I have never been able to go a report online since I have an old entry to the country. Been doing my reports by mail for a while now.

Wait, what?

You are saying " https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online" was working for you within the last hour??

Maybe they are trying to get it going again. The button on the main immigration website leads to the that address again instead of the under construction page.

Not working now though.

Given that the "anonymous" group have set their targets on all Thai government websites..I hope that if/when its back up again they have patched all the latest security updates for the server and have an IT specialist constantly monitoring for any unusual activity.

The server at extranet.immigration.go.th is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

hmmmmmm   I'm not going to be hitting the F5 key continuously.

That is better than seeing it immediately go to the "hey, we know we're down!" page.  It gives me hope I can still squeeze in my online before my days run out.  <removed>

They do seem to be working on it.

Was able to access the site, fill in the info and submit it but got the message to contact my office that I always get (onl entry).

Then tried again after 5 minutes and it was down again. Maybe I broke it. :shock1:

Mine is due in a couple of weeks, I just managed to sneak in my online extension before it shut down in December. I do mine at Samut Prakan immigration office, does anyone know if they have moved the 90 day reporting upstairs, or can you still just walk straight back into the computer room and do it there on the ground floor ??

cheers

Gents,

Just tried now to enter 90 day online reporting from three different browsers. No can do.

Quickie question. I live in Kalasin so my yearly extension is done at Sakon Nakhon. Because the system is down and last time they denied receiving my postal report, I have only done it once before, ( REGISTERED MAIL) I will drive but can I report at Mukdahan which is much nearer from my house and do the 90 days report there?

Normally, I am out of country approaching 90 days but this time not and driving to Sakon Nakhon is a bit of a trek.

Immigration's extranet has been down since December which why you cannot get on the online reporting site.

You will have to do your report at Sakon Nakhon. It can only be done where you got your extension of stay.

  • 2 weeks later...

If you mail in a 90-day report does it have to arrive at least 15 days before your report date?  Or just be postmarked 15 days before?

relevant text:

Send the mail before the renewal date 15 days to Immigration office
Notice :
- Your registered mail must be sent to the Immigration office at least 15 days before the due date of notification.

And if you report in person, am I correct in understanding that you can report up to 15 days before, or up to 7 days after, your report date without penalty?

relevant text:

The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires.

And if you report up to 7 days after your report date does the 90 day clock start on that date, or your original 90 day report date?

At least for BKK Immigration, a postmark 15 days before and sending via EMS seems to suffice. In the past, I tried mailing it a bit later than that and got a red warning stamp on my return acknowledgment slip citing the 15 days req.

I think everyone that has used the 90 online reporting has seen that security message. It is there because the Thai Gov. IT people don't have their setting correct.

If you see that message, it is good news, because the page is loading. And it has not for many months.

I don't have to do my report for a couple of weeks. Is the online 90 rpt working again?

You may of just tried at the right time. It is on and off it seems. Just tried and I got the "Navigation to the webpage was canceled" message.

I think they are working on it or turn the extranet on to do something on it. About the same as when I did this post.
