March 28, 201510 yr Trying my luck again.... Does anyone know a shop/factory that sell Aluminum rods of 2007 2011 6012 quality? Since weeks we search and call and don't get anything. Considering that this isn't very exotic. It is aluminum that is easy to machine. Considering that Thailand has a lot industry I would think it is available somewhere.
March 28, 201510 yr you could always try the 'aluminium' term, as I just did, and found more hits, from within Thailand itself. Typing aluminum found sites mainly linked from U.S. search site perspective alibaba/bloomberg etc

It brings me a few other results but as far as I saw no one I didn't call yet...

I found some (overpriced) at rs-online.com. But if it doesn't produce ribbons braking my tools in small holes it will be OK. I may start an expeditions to Yaowarat road as well.

Any of the "spokes" off the circle will have metal shops . except the main one going into chinatown , also lots of other industrial stuff , hardware , pulleys etc
