Sport Bike first class insurance ?

Featured Replies

Hello

Are there any trustworthy companies in thailand that offer first class Insurance for 1000CC bikes ? (2012 Yamaha R1)

My friend recently purchased one in Chiangmai the day i picked up my 899

I was thinking perhaps yamaha themselve offer insurance but wanted to ask around first for him

Bike is registered and has all legal documents

cheers

You can ask Big Wing Honda in CM or in BKK. When I bought my CBR650F they offered me two different 1st class insurance companies. One was just under 10,000 Baht per year. The other was about 16,000 Baht per year. The cheaper one also would pick your bike up if it broke down in Bangkok. The more expensive one was better if you drive up country a lot as they have more offices around Thailand. I forget all the details, but I am sure Big Wing can explain the differences. The cheaper company and one I bought is called LMG Insurance. It is easier if you buy it when the bike is brand new. Otherwise they will require an inspection of the bike's condition first to note any existing damage I am assuming.

You could contact the TV sponsor Peter from http://aainsure.net

I've used him for 4 years and I am quite happy with the coverage.

I use Sri Thai via a local bike dealer in CNX you can also find an insurance company on GT-Riders website that will give an online quote.
