Anywhere in Chiang Mai that sells second hand building materials such as steel roof trusses?

The best you can hope for is to drive by one of the scrap yards the day after they brought something in.

leave it longer and they will have it cut up and ready to weigh in.

From a building point of view you are going to be hard pressed to even find something that is suitable for your project so you would have to cut and adapt anyway.

Keep it simple; design your truss and then go and buy for example 4x2 c section steel. it costs from 600bt to 900bt depending on the guage thickness and thats for a 6m length.

Then all you need is a grinder and welder or man with both those.
