Samuel25241 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 First off, is this actually possible to do? I couldn't find anything online about them doing a service on it. Secondly, I'm correct in thinking that you CAN get a certificate of residence on just a tourist visa? Thirdly, does anyone know (if they have done this in the past) what you actually need to bring. Signed photocopy of the house owners ID card, documents of house ownership, etc? Thanks
ubonjoe Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 They will do a proof of residence document. Info is here. https://www.gov.uk/notarial-and-documentary-services-guide-for-thailand Note that you will need to make an appointment for the service. 1
OJAS Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 OP - why do you want/need a certificate of residence if you're just here on a tourist visa?

NoshowJones Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I was told all you need is signed copies of your wifes ID card and housebook.
