    Just noticed this ,it is between Lopburi and Pattanaikom ,( where the Passak dam is  ),a place known as Aung-Sublec, been  meaning to photo this for some years ........

    It's claim to fame, King Narai 1633-53,piped water from Aung -Sublec, Aung being a lake, to Lopburi 15-20 km away ,the king liked to spend time in Lopbui, the Thai capital city at the time was Ayutthaya.

    This is known as a Blut-Kik ,my best translation ,put out when it is very dry /drought like this year ,an offering to the Thai rain  god to send some rain.

    First I have seen for a few years, used to see a lot about.
