There is one at the moment, near Soi 7 in Maenam, just before the regular evening market .... Comes by about 2 two times a year...

This one has music pounding away to well after midnight....

Not sure if this what you mean.... ? I took a quick walk through the other day, can't say I was too impressed ...

There is Walking street, on Soi 4 Maenam on Thursday,

Fisherman's Village on Friday,

and I believe Lamai on Saturday ? (perhaps someone in Lamai can confirm?) ... these might be more interesting ?

I passed a big market tonight half way between Lamai and Hua Thanon, opposite the temple, just after the Hin Ta Hin Yai.

That is the annual temple fair.
