Travel date on UK visa online application would not update

Featured Replies

My Thai girlfriend has just completed & printed her visa application to travel to the UK with me. We originally believed our travel date would be 27th June but it had to be brought forward to the 24th. She has put 24th June as her intended date of arrival in the application, but the travel date at the beginning of the application still says 27th June. Would this issue cause any problems with her application?

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

No it shouldn't be a problem as the visa will be valid from the date of issue, unless she asked for it to be post dated.

If she hasn't submitted the supporting documents I would change and initial the revised date on the hard copy and mention it in the covering letter, if she's already submitted the hard copy of the form it really shouldn't be an issue, the UKVI advise that flight tickets shouldn't be purchased until the visa is issued and actual travel plans can change.

Thanks Old Git. We will be giving the documents in on the 30th april. We have already paid for, submitted & printed the application. After re - checking the application, the travel date isn't part of the actual application form but it appears on the webpage as the 27th when she logs in to her account. I dont think we have have to provide a copy of this? Only the intended date of arrival which we have put as the 24th June is contained in the actual application.

Thanks again for your help
