3bb recommended package for Movie/Tv streaming

Featured Replies

I live in Pattaya and have the basic 10mb package. I find it very slow for video or TV streaming and buffers a lot. Will the upgrade to 15mb solve this? I understand they have a 30mb fibre optic package. Anybody any experience of this? Is it more suitable. Is it stable? Available everywhere in Pattaya. I live on the dark side.

Get the fiber.. Superb.. streaming from major US sites easily now.

where do you buy this fiber & how much. We live in Nonthburi, and hardly watch tv any more, because of the constant commercials playing over & over, like someone is asleep at the controls. So just movies for us, but often while watching a movie you can loose the picture and it doesn't return, very frustrating.

on any day using 3bb speedtest site I would be lucky to get 8MB down and .35 MB up

The internet in Thailand is only as good as the weather and the dam power cuts.

.

I'm using the 13/1 Mbps package in Chiang Mai and have no problem streaming. My wife is streaming regularly either her back issues of soaps or movies though those are Thai sites. I use YouTube often in 1080HD with no problems. A lot depends on your location and contention ratio and time of day as to how well it performs.
