Chinese Tourist Drowns in waters off Pattaya Island



PATTAYA: -- Reports of a drowning were received by the Pattaya Sea Rescue Center at the Bali Hai Port on Tuesday afternoon, who dispatched a boat to the location to retrieve the body of a Chinese Tourist.

The incident occurred at Tawean Beach on Larn Island, 4kms off the coast of Pattaya, and resulted in the death of Mr. Zhenlong Ling aged 73.

He had gone to the Island with a tour group which included his Wife and Son, who witnessed Mr. Ling go under the water. He was removed from the water and CPR was administered but Mr. Ling could not be revived.
